Five services, from a single written report to a fully guided journey. Starting prices are below. What moves the final figure is your own case — the archives, the distances, the number of family lines — and you get that figure in writing after a free assessment.

Village Report

from $390

The first question every family needs answered: where, exactly, is “the village”? We take the name as it was spelled on the ship manifest or in family letters and identify the real place.

Roughly 3–5 hours of a researcher's time, delivered inside two weeks
Identification of the village: historical name, present-day name, district
Which parish it belonged to, and which archive holds its church books
What years of records survive — and what was lost
Present-day photographs and satellite view; state of the church and cemetery

Service 02

6–10 weeks

Archival Research

from $900

The full genealogical dig: parish registers, civil records, emigration documents. This is where names, dates and faces come back to a family that thought them lost.

Birth, marriage and death records from parish books — with copies of the originals
A family tree, four to six generations deep
Emigration trail: ship manifests, border records, arrival documents
Search for living relatives in the village and district
Everything delivered as a bound digital dossier, explained in plain language

Typically 12–20 hours of archival work, spread over 6–10 weeks. The cost depends on how many lines of the family you want traced and how scattered the records are. You receive a fixed quote after the free assessment — never a running meter.

Service 03

4–8 weeks

Virtual Homecoming

from $1,200

We travel to your village for you, and film everything. For those who cannot make the journey — which is most people — this is the journey.

A filmed visit: the house, the street, the church, the cemetery
Conversations with the oldest residents who remember your family name
The family grave found, tidied, flowers laid in your name
A 20–30 minute documentary film, subtitled in your language
An envelope of earth from the family yard, sent to your door

Grave Care

An ocean away, a grave grows over in a decade. We keep it as if the family had never left.

Service 05

7–10 days

Homecoming Journey

from $9,000 per couple

You land in Poland. From that moment until we return you to your gate, there is not a single arrangement left for you to make. This is the journey the rest of the ladder leads to.

Private car and driver from Kraków or Warsaw, assisted border crossing
Hotels, meals, insurance with war-risk cover, and a written safety protocol
The village day: the house, the church, the grave — and, when they exist, your relatives, at a set table
A photographer and videographer through the key days
Lviv, the Carpathians and the places your family would have known
A film and a photo book of the journey, delivered after you are home

Dates are limited: journeys run May through September, and we take a small number of families per season. Planning starts four to six months ahead.

How pricing and payment work

You write to us, we answer with a fixed written quote for your case — before anything begins, and free of charge. Research is then paid half on commissioning, half on delivery. Journeys: a 25% deposit to reserve dates, 50% a month before travel, and the final 25% only after you are home. You are never asked to send the full amount up front — and if we find substantially less than promised, part of the fee comes back.
